From Paul Krueger, President, MSRA Scholarship Foundation:
Welcome to the 2021 MSRA Back To The 50’s. As warmer weather starts to arrive, everyone begins to think about getting their car ready to attend the best outdoor car show in the country and everything it has to offer.
While you are here, it is our hope you will be able to make it to this year’s MSRA Scholarship Foundation Silent Auction Tent. We are located on Randall Avenue, near the intersection of Underwood, just a short distance down the hill on Randall. We are the tent next to the MSRA sales tent. The tent also holds the MSRA Jacket Sales, The MSRA Legislation Booth and the MSRA Membership Booth.
Since 1992, the MSRA Scholarship Foundation has awarded thousands of scholarships to promote secondary education of MSRA members and their children. The scholarships are funded by the MSRA and fundraising events held throughout the year. The primary fundraising event is the Silent Auction and Garage Sale, held during the Back to the 50’s event.
In addition to the auction and the sale at Back to the 50’s, we will have limited edition art prints for sale by Eric Aurand both Friday and Saturday. There will also be copies of the limited edition, Car and Club Magazine, created by Eric Aurand. Eric will be on hand both Friday and Saturday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. to sign his creations. We will also offer SPECIAL BACK TO THE 50’s pricing on these items. All proceeds from the sale of his work are donated to the Scholarship Foundation.
If you are interested in donating an item to the Silent Auction or if you are donating a garage sale item or wish to make a cash donation to the Scholarship Foundation, please stop by the Scholarship tent on Friday or Saturday. All donations are tax deductible, and you will receive a donation receipt.
Bidding for the silent auction items will begin at 9AM and close at 4 PM. All winning bidders must pick up their items by 4:30 P.M. the day of the auction. Stop by to check out the variety of items available for auction and sale at the Scholarship Tent and help make this a very successful year.
The MSRA Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1992 for the purpose of promoting secondary education of MSRA members and their children. The program is available to current members of MSRA and children of current members. The membership must be current before 9/1/20. There is no age limit for scholarship applicants, however, those individuals age 21 or older at the time of the application deadline (August 1, 2021) must have their own MSRA membership. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
Whether our young adults are pursuing a four year degree or a program at a technical college, secondary education can have many challenges. The MSRA Scholarship Foundation was established to support students efforts and show them we CARE!
Enjoy this special weekend!
Do you have a Business? Are you a Crafter? Do you work for a company who donates to community organizations? Please consider donating to the 2021 Silent Auction! Items you would like to donate for the Silent Auction would be appreciated.
