2023 Back to the 50’s Registration

Back to the 50’s is almost here and we just want to share a few reminders. The deadline for pre registration has passed, but you can still register your properly insured, licensed street legal 1964 and earlier passenger production car or truck at the registration headquarters hotel, which is the Best Western Plus located at 1000 Gramsie Road, Shoreview Minnesota 55126. The hours to pick up your registration materials and/or register your vehicle will be:

  • Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Friday, June 23, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The southern registration pickup location is the Eagan Community Center, 1501 Central Parkway, Eagan Minnesota 55121. The hours to pick up your registration materials will be:

  • Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. PICK UP ONLY

The cost for registration is $80 cash per vehicle at the Best Western Plus. There will be NO registration at the fairgrounds. There is NO registration at the Eagan Community Center. Please remember to bring your confirmation letter(s) as you will need it to pick up your registration packet. If you are picking up registration materials for a friend/family member, please remember to have written permission.

PLEASE REVIEW THE LIST OF IMPORTANT REMINDERS
  • Mail your preregistration form to PO Box 22, Pine City MN 55063.  This is the official address. NOTE: if your preregistration form is mailed to an address other than the official address of PO BOX 22, there will be a delay in receiving your form and possibly processing your form or the form being returned.
  • Only passenger production trucks or cars 1964 and older allowed.
  • SIGN the bottom of the form. If you have listed a second name on the form (i.e.: John and Mary Smith), both people need to sign the form.
  • Include your payment of $40 per vehicle (remember to sign your check).
    We do NOT accept credit/debit cards, or any form of online payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay).
  • Please print clearly.
  • A Number 10 envelope is preferred.
  • NO stapling or taping of the envelope is necessary.
  • If you have a MSRA membership number, please include this on the form.
  • NO MUSTANGS, OVERSIZED VEHICLES*, PETS**, BIKES, ROLLERBLADES, DRONES, SCOOTERS OF ALL TYPES, FLAME THROWING, BURN OUTS, ETC.

  • ** NO PETS ARE ALLOWED on the fairgrounds at this event with the exception of Service Animals as defined by the ADA.  Click here for Minnesota Statutes regarding Service Animals
  • The deadline for SOUTH preregistration (Eagan Community Center, Eagan MN) is RECEIVED (not postmarked) BY March 15, 2023 at PO Box 22, Pine City MN 55063
  • The deadline for NORTH preregistration (Best Western, Shoreview, MN) is RECEIVED (not postmarked) BY April 29, 2023 at PO Box 22, Pine City MN 55063
  • Absolutely no refunds for the 2023 Back to the 50’s Weekend so please know your plans before sending in your preregistration application.
  • Registering a vehicle for the Back to the 50’s Weekend does not include a MSRA membership. These are two separate fees. You do not have to be a member of MSRA to register a vehicle.
  • Registered vehicles are to be properly insured, licensed street legal vehicles. Please be prepared to show proof of vehicle insurance, if asked.

Please remember that the MSRA Back to the 50’s Weekend is all volunteer and during this time the dedicated Registration Committee volunteers will process approximately 11,000 preregistrations!
